I am fortunate to have an amazing support system, including my fiancée, parents, siblings, and grandmother. I work in banking and am currently pursuing my MBA, with plans to graduate in 2028. In my free time, I enjoy playing hockey, tennis, and golf. I’m also a passionate New York Rangers fan and love listening to rock and heavy metal music.
My connection to Ewing sarcoma is personal. I was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in 2014 and 2015, and today I am 11 years off treatment. Going through cancer at a young age shaped my perspective on life and inspired me to find ways to turn that difficult experience into something positive.
I joined the ESI Community Support Team because I want to give back to others facing Ewing sarcoma. I know how challenging treatment can be, and I hope that by sharing my experience, I can offer encouragement, understanding, and hope to patients and families navigating their own journeys.
My message to patients and families is this: Do whatever you can to take your mind off treatment. Stay as busy and active as possible with friends and family. Focus on the things you enjoy, lean on the people who care about you, and remember that treatment is only one chapter of your story. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and brighter days are ahead.
