Lee Helman
Director, Osteosarcoma Institute
Dr. Lee Helman is Director of the Osteosarcoma Institute and a longtime leader in pediatric sarcoma research. He previously held leadership roles at the National Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and continues to advance the field of sarcoma therapy.
Chad Brown
Chief Investment Officer, Nearburg Producing Company
Chad Brown is the Chief Investment Officer of Nearburg Producing Company. He holds an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, bringing financial leadership and strategic expertise to the Ewing Sarcoma Institute’s Executive Board.

Russell G. Adderley Professor of Pediatric Oncology, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, University of Michigan
Dr. Patrick Grohar is a physician-scientist focused on drug discovery and the biology of Ewing Sarcoma. As the Russell G. Adderley Professor of Pediatric Oncology at the University of Michigan, he leads translational research efforts to develop new therapies targeting pediatric solid tumors.
Heinrich Kovar
Group Leader and Professor, St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute
Dr. Heinrich Kovar is a leading expert in the molecular biology of Ewing Sarcoma, serving as Group Leader and former Scientific Director at St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute in Vienna. With more than 35 years dedicated to pediatric cancer research, he has helped drive international collaboration and discovery in Ewing Sarcoma biology.
