Carol has been a dedicated member of the Ewing Sarcoma community for nearly 15 years. She became involved in this fight when her youngest daughter, Anna, was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma at the age of 16. Following Anna’s passing, Carol and her family established the 1 Million 4 Anna Foundation to honor her memory and continue her legacy. Over eight successful years, under Carol’s leadership, the foundation raised nearly $5 million to support promising Ewing sarcoma research, award college scholarships to survivors, and strengthen the community.

After surpassing the foundation’s initial goals, Carol and her family took a brief step back butremained committed to assisting the Ewing sarcoma community whenever possible.

Carol is honored to bring her experience in building a foundation to the Ewing Sarcoma Institute. She is steadfastly committed to supporting families who have endured similar challenges and recognizes the importance of finding new and effective treatments for this devastating disease. She truly believes that we are all stronger together and looks forward to helping unite the community.
