For me, family is everything. I cherish spending time with my daughter, Annie, my husband, Mark, and our extended family and loved ones. I enjoy staying active—both within the Ewing sarcoma community, where I honor my son and other warriors, and in my local community through my church and friendships. I also love reading, traveling, working out, and spending time with Golden Retrievers, which I truly believe are some of the best medicine of all.

My connection to Ewing sarcoma is deeply personal. In 2022, I lost my son, Charlie, at age 15 to metastatic Ewing sarcoma. In his honor, our family established The Charlie Landers Foundation (CL7) to help advance research and support families affected by this disease. Charlie’s courage, strength, and spirit continue to inspire everything I do.

I joined the Community Support Team because I understand the challenges of caring for a teenager facing Ewing sarcoma. I know how overwhelming, frightening, and uncertain the journey can feel. I hope to offer a listening ear, share insights from our family’s experience, and help others navigate the unimaginable with hope, clarity, and optimism.

My message to families is this: Your journey is your own, and every patient is different. While there will be difficult days, there is always a reason to remain hopeful. Hold on to the people who support you, trust your instincts, and know that you do not have to walk this path alone. There is a community ready to stand beside you.
